So i've taken to watching a TON of sports. Usually just the Marlins, but theyre 23-27 and that depresses me. Although today's game against the mets was a good, especially for Josh Johnson and Jeremy Hermida. Johnson allowed only one run and Hermida almost went for a cycle with a single, double, and a 3-run home run.

Basketball is also on my eye. The Orlando Magics have made it into the NBA Finals. I hope they can make it all the way!

My school's softball and baseball team is doing well. The girl's Softball team is doing amazing in the women's college world series. Theyre 2-0 and moving on, if i remember correctly. The baseball team won today against Miami.

Mav came over with Mel for a bit, that baby is too cute. But unfortunately i spent most of their visit making food so i didnt get to hang out for long since they went to church. I should be sleeping since its 4:40am and i have to wake up at 9 but i cant seem to fall asleep. Stupid Insonmia. -____- gonna keep trying tho

After Ed's Party and Initiation/Banquet things died down a bit. Nothing really big: Amber's barbecue where i went w/ kyle and rachel and we had a blast; then Josh's dinner at Chili's as a last farewell for PAD people; and of course FINALS! I ended up doing terrible this semester. Three Bs, a C, and a D+ But my GPA is still above a 3.0 so yay for that i have a 3.10 so this upcoming semester is going to be me buckling down on myself!

Since I've been home I haven't really done much. Saturday we drove back and went to a peruvian restaurant for some really good food . Sunday I went to church in the morning and we presented my cousin Pam's baby, rather than do the official baptism since at our church we don't do baptisms till you're old enough to choose for yourself. Then we decided to go to my cousin's house and have a pool day. It was fun, I saw all of my 8 nieces and nephews which is always a plus. Monday I went to the library and pretty much just chilled. Tuesday was a blast, I spent about 15 hours of cleaning, give or take an hour. All of that was done to help me unpack a bit and because the house was a HUGE mess and my cousin Sandra was flying in today so I wanted the house to at least be presentable... So because i had taken my ADHD med really late on tuesday I didnt fall asleep until like 7 am and my mom ended up going with Mavick to pick Sandra up from the airport. I got very little sleep 4 hrs if that, so I'm surprised that I'm not crashing yet. We had Pollo Tropical for lunch and Pizza for dinner, three cheers for a lazy day! Mavick, Sandra and Mel came by. Mel is so cute. I can't wait till she turns 1 She is starting to be a huge pain though, she knows what works to get attention and she tries to be it all the time ha ha. We were going to go to the Baseball game (to see my Marlins) but Sandra had jetlag and I was on like four hours of sleep so we are choosing to wait until after their next road trip. So now im sitting here hoping the Marlins can pull it together and beat the Braves. We're currently down 8-4 in the 5th so we have 4 more tries after this inning. Cross your fingers!

I just finished a monstrous Italian final, it was take home, THANK GOD! because i would have failed otherwise. I'm currently watching the baseball game waiting for Lauryn to get home from her test so me, her and Jess can go to lunch. Im really grateful that theyre going to be my dormmates next year, it'll be such a blast! I don't have another final until next wednesday, but i have 3 in 2 days (4/29-4/30), so i have to study a LOT because those exams will not be easy. Wish me luck.

I saw the funniest thing on yahoo video. Miss USA contestant saying publicly that she was against gay marriage, personally i think it cost her the contest. But I just want to say, there are worse things than a man and a man being married, so stop fussing. The same people who refuse to budge now on this topic were the same people who were opposed to abortion, woman's voting rights, desegregation etc... and all those things happened because we are a progressive society.

I ran into Blaine again after my Differential Equations class (i got a perfect 10 on my quiz :D i am very happy!) and Mike walked past us and just gave me this icky look. I know i screwed our friendship up with my jealous bullshit last year, but if i can get past it, why can't you? Blaine and the girls are more receptive, i havent really run into Silvia since she and Mike got married. I'm not going to lie, i'm curious as to how things are going between tehm but its not in my best interest to try and find out. Im just glad that i dont have to walk around anymore worrying about whether or not i'm going to see them. (side note: apparently the girls have taken to constantly drinking and smoking pot, and one even died her hair a ghastly green :/)
